Harlan Coben, author of Myron Bolitar stories
I recently read Harlan Coben's "Deal Breaker" , the first Myron Bolitar. As a new writer, it was exciting to read a style that was similar to mine but obviously much better.
Great characters, snappy dialogue, short chapters, and not too much space on descriptions of feelings and locations.
Characters are distinct but not outrageous. Although Win is a bit out there, Coben doesn't dwell on his hit-man skill.
